The first trucks arrived on October 1 and early the following week the heavy equipment showed up and work began in earnest on the preparation and initial planting of Flora Aurora Phase 2, subset 'A'.

The photos below, some by Gordon, others by Tom, should give you a feel for what's happening. We have not been at the site together but the crew tell me that thay know Gordon by name and it appears that they heed his comments.

A visit to the Flora Aurora 2 site on Friday, October 15 found the work almost completed. The stonework replacement/rebuild of the drainage outlet was impressive, much the new sod was in place and the planting pits (with good soil!) were ready to wait out the winter in anticipation of Spring 2011 planting.
A little persuasion and the crew from Land
Vision Contracting posed for a well-earned photo for the website.
Here's Gordon's photo of Monday,
October 18 ... with only some final
sod things to do. (The fencing will
stay up for a few more days as the
sod settles.)     LOOKIN' GOOD!
