The Arboretum is a marvellous place for a photographer.
It It has easy access and parking in all seasons; easy trails and more remote ones; quiet places; and a huge range of landscape, nature, specimen and 'just plain pretty' opportunities.
Tom Yates, who manages this website for the ACA has been photographing in all seasons in the Arboretum since 2004. For the 2010 version of the Arboretum website he combined photographs over several years, by season, for your enjoyment and education.
You too can use the Arboretum as a quiet place for photography. Do it alone or with friends. Try new things so you become a more skilled photographer. Look for new subject matter or a new way to capture familiar scenes or specimens.
