We have had several Planting  Sessions in May 2010.
The nurseries have been busy with stock going out to the Arboretum and fresh stock coming into the nurseries for the next few years of planting in Arboretum.

This year we had lots of help!
It's that extra help we are getting from Volunteers that makes it possible for for us to increase our rate of planting. Some are young, some are older, some come as families, some to get Community Hours. Some are skilled gardeners, others learn as they work with our experienced leaders.

Rain, sunshine, wind, cold (no snow!) ... we had all kindsof weather and our volunteers helped us get the job done.

Thay are all making a contribution to Auroras future!
We thank them.

On May 19 our friends from the Aurora Horticultural Society planted the flower bed at the North Entrance to the Arboretum. It compliments the trellis raised last year by Home Depot and is near the grove of trees planted with funds from TD Canada Trust!
